Cupcakes for (Bigger) Boys... (contd)

Boys... when they are a lot bigger they absolutely MUST choose an EPL team to support, and the popular choice will be any one of the big 4s .... MU, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool (ranked according to their current standings, before 03rdApril mind you)
But, if you don't have one yet (really?) do read this suggestion by an American, it's an old (2006) article, i find it so amusing, especially the part "I don't care who you pick, just don't pick Manchester United" LOL!
ESPN Simmons on EPL
This set was ordered by Naley for her bf. The numbers on the jersey must hold a special meaning for them, because I couldn't find the player names for number 3 and 7 (according to this season line-up), thus decided to remove all the names from the jersey images. Arrangement of the cupcakes is as requested by Naley, thanks for ordering....

And some (bigger) boys still find the time to go to school despite their busy work schedule and family commitments. This was ordered by Ann (thanks) for her hubby Paul, who recently completed his Masters degree. Congratulations!

Cupcakes for the Guys

MU is probably doing better (after Cristiano left), since this is the 1st order for MU themed cupcakes I received this season. Maybe it's for celebration of them winning the Carling Cup recently. And the next match everyone's waiting for will be on 10th March against AC Milan at Old Trafford, Becks is Back !
Despite all the above excitement..... I'm happy that Chelsea still tops the Premier League table and I keep receiving hundreds of edible images for cupcakes with Chelsea's and Arsenal logos.... :-D

This is ordered by Cikgu Hunny for hubby, thank you...

From Jaja (tqvm...) to her fiance, design based on a few pics sent by Jaja, without any info about the originator.

From Jo for his family, no specified theme, his request was for something simply 'biasa' (regular). Thanks Jo, I probably forgot to pick up Yna from school if u didn't call  :)

Take us to the top, Arsene Wenger tells his Arsenal players | Arsenal - Times Online

We'll see this coming Wednesday... good luck Gunners! There's not much excitement with this season's EPL in our house, much of it I think because Asyraf (my nephew) is still confined to the bed after his spinal injury 5 months ago. Asyraf, my kids and hubby would put on their MU jersey and stayed up to watch MU matches whenever they could last season.

This order came on such short notice, I left it with my helper for the customer to pick-up; now I realized I didn't even get her name. Her request was for 10 Arsenal logo cupcakes, with the balance left for me to choose whatever flowery image I like. I must have had a short term craze for swirls and spent the whole evening looking for swirl designs and even put up an order for the AI templates from Kerawang.net ! (Actually, I do like their designs, they seem a lot softer with traditional malay flair)

Netball Themed Cupcakes

First order from Farah, our neighbor living just behind our house. Farah wanted orange color topping with netball theme for her best friend who's a netball enthusiast.
Hmmm.... orange red is the classic color for netball ball, nowadays the ball design has also evolved just like any other sports' balls.
Thanks for the order Farah, now your mystery of the frequent sweet smell of baking in the middle of the night is solved :)

Soccer Field Cupcakes Cake

It's been months since I last made pull-away cupcakes cake. Since the order was for a soccer field shape, I opted to use 36 square mini cupcakes to form the 'field'.
Forgot to apply a little buttercream to the base of the cupcakes to stick them to the cake boards, I was lucky that my daughter Sue helped to hold the cake in place during the delivery trip to Sg Ara. The journey in my little perodua kancil with dead absorbers on the potholes ridden BM roads was indeed a long and bumpy ride...
Mieza also ordered another 25 regular cupcakes, thanks Mieza.

Manchester United 2009/2010

Ordered by Marissa for her bf, MU cupcakes with their 2009/2010 season jersey (taken after Ultraman's suit I think , lol) . Thanks Marissa

Perodua Cupcakes

Yatie ordered these cuppakes to surprise hubby on his birthday the very next day (thanks Yatie). Yatie wanted green and red buttercream; but I added plain/white buttercream for contrast and the pinky red above is the closest I could come up with before turning the buttercream bitter from too much coloring gel.
Cupcakes were delivered to a Perodua showroom nearby. Ha ha ha... I think even the staffs there could not recognize the models of these perodua cars icing transfers :D

Edible Image

These are example of edible image for MU theme cakes.

An MU Fan's Birthday Cake

This cake was ordered by Zura (thanks!) to surprise her hubby during his busiest time of the day, i.e. at 10am. The surface of the choc fudge is so uneven, it really shows through the edible image sheet. Kinda like the BJ stadium's field the team has to play on when they come to M'sia during their Asia Tour, LOL !!!

2009 European Cup(cakes)

The guys in the house want some 'male' theme for the cupcakes. My hubby & 3 kids are all MU fans. I'm always the only one supporting the other team in MU matches, not a fan of any FC but I do put on my Chelsea t-shirt (bought by my beloved MU fan) when they have a match against MU (ha ha ha).

So here it is, the cupcakes with edible images of this season's UEFA Champions League favorite teams (I think). RM30 for a box of 15 cuppies, I'll deliver to you on the match day (before 7pm, free delivery if you're in Kulim). Choose your one favorite team, or 2 teams if you have that much excitement in your home too... (It's so boring when the whole house just support one team, don't you think?)

For the girls who want to stay neutral during the matches, then get this RM6.50 for a box of 4 cuppies. (Minimum order of RM32 for 5boxes if you order only this alone)

P/S I'll change the match ball and UEFA Champions League Logo, just realized that UEFA Cup is different from UEFA Euro Cup
